FAQ

Here we hope to answer some of the more frequently asked questions in order to help you better plan your trip. Here we go!

Where is the nearest airport?

The nearest airports are Jerez de la Frontera (1h) and Seville (1.5h). Málaga is 2 hours by car. Airport transfers can be arranged.

Do I need a rental car to visit the Finca?

We recommend a rental car in order to explore the beautiful surroundings. However there are bus services operating from Jerez, Seville, Ronda and Malaga to Algodonales. From there we can pick you up, just be sure to let us know well in advance.

I’m not vegan. Can I come anyway?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome at Finca Vegana.

Do I have to go without my cheese, chorizo and meat during my stay?

Yes, at Finca Vegana we aim to live as cruelty-free and environmentally conscious as possible. We ask that you respect our philosophy and are more than happy to show you alternatives or recommend restaurants close by. Of course, we can also give you a taste of our culinary delights with homemade breakfast or dinner.

Do you also offer food? If so, at what times?

We happily offer freshly prepared, homemade breakfast and dinner, just let us know the day before. Whenever possible we use locally sourced, whole, organic foods. Breakfast can be served anytime between 8am and 11am. Dinner is usually around 7pm to 8pm.

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is possible between 4pm and 8pm, check-out from 10am to 12 noon. Alternative arrangements can also be made in advance, just get in touch with us.

Do you also have a Siesta?

Yes, from 1pm to 4pm.

Where is the next supermarket?

In Zahara there are several small supermarkets and you can generally find everything you need. In Algodonales there is a slightly larger supermarket and several stores offering local fruits and vegetables. Of course we can also help you find vegan products in the area.

Is there a weekly market?

On Thursdays you can visit the market in Algodonales and on Saturdays just around the corner in Zahara. Here you get mostly regional produce, some of which is organic.

May I bring my dog?

Absolutely, we love dogs! There is an additional cleaning fee of €15 per stay for the houses and we expect dog owners  to clean up after their four-legged companions.

What are the houses equipped with?

Each house has its own kitchen with crockery, cutlery, gas stove and refrigerator. There is also a fireplace in each house and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Of course we also supply bed linen and towels.

What if I book a room at Casa Vegana?

The living room, dining room and kitchen are shared by all guests of Casa Vegana. There are 5 rooms in total, each with its own bathroom. So you have a room all to yourself and the common areas are accessible for everyone staying in the house.
