Finca Vegana

City Tours

Finca Vegana is the ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding cities. The most beautiful places in Andalusia such as Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera and Seville can be reached in about an hour.

Cultural, traditional and modern

Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia, is one of the most visited cities in Spain. It boasts a unique combination of history, tradition and modernity. At the Plaza de España in the Parque de Maria Luisa you can sit for hours and watch the hustle and bustle. Most attractions can be reached on foot, but renting a bike is also a good idea. A visit to the Real Alcázar should not be missed if you want to learn more about Seville’s history. Any tour of the city is not complete without a trip to a tapas bar in one of the lively, colourful neighbourhoods. The Alamada de Hercules, for example, offers an incredible variety of ways to spend your evening: live music, art exhibitions and flamenco shows are just a few of the options.

The famous Ronda Gorge is a good half an hour from Finca Vegana. The Puente Nuevo is the town landmark connecting the old and new parts of the city. This is where most of the selfies are taken, because the view is just fantastic. If you are not afraid of heights, you can even climb down into the gorge and admire the entire construction. Of course, you don’t have to look far for bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Despite the large number of visitors, the narrow, cobblestone streets give Ronda a historic charm and invite you to meander.

Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz

The sherry cradle, Jerez de la Frontera, is located just an hour away from the Finca. Many visitors enjoy a tour of the famous Bodegas and, of course, a little Sherry tasting. But what would a trip to Andalusia be without flamenco? You simply can’t get enough of it, that’s why you can enjoy flamenco shows all year round. The traditional ferias, the annual festivals found in every village, will certainly surprise you. Young and old come together to celebrate life and family – typically Spanish.

Cádiz is reputed to be the oldest city in Europe. The impressive cathedral, winding streets and the quarters boasting contrasting cultural influences make Cádiz a special destination. And if you fancy the 0cean, this stretch of Atlantic coast is well worth the visit. Don’t worry if you return to the Finca after an exciting day and don’t feel like cooking – we’ll take care of it for you.
